NCERT Class 9 Social Science History

Class 9th history textbook has total 6 chapters divided into two units. The first unit has chapters like French revolution, Socialism in Europe and Nazism and Hitler. Each of them deals the condition of government and administration in respective regions.The French revolution is about the revolution Which happened in France in 1789 and tells the condition till the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte in France. The second chapter starts with a new kind of political and economic theory socialism which rose in Europe and after that talks about the condition of Russia after the First World War. How the socialism theory affected the history of Russia and led to rising of communist governments. The third chapter is Nazism and the rise of Hitler which talks about the aftermath of second world war and the condition which led to rising of Hitler in Germany. After the Hitler’s defeat in the second world war, it deals with Nazi ideology which was synonymous with Hitler’s ideology. The second unit is about the livelihood of the societies such as people of forests, tribals and peasants and farmers. How their condition changed after the colonialism.
